Hawker Food & Nutrition

Hawker Culture in Singapore is an important part of life for Singaporeans and residents. People in Singapore are so proud of their hawker food, that hawker culture is nominated for UNESCO’s (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Over the years, this combination of food, space, spices and culture  around stalls selling Chinese, Malay, Indian and many other diverse types of dishes are important part of everyday life in Singapore.

We would like to contribute to hawker culture by providing insight into the nutritional values of popular dishes and drinks available in the hawker centers.
