Insurance coverage varies for different outpatient and inpatient procedures. To find out if your condition is covered by medical insurance, please call our clinic. Our friendly staff will help check your insurance coverage and explain reimbursement process for you. We will help you to liaise with your insurer in terms of medical claim forms and medical reports.
It is important to note that your claims are subject to your insurer’s final assessment and approval based on your policy agreement. We kindly ask that you present your insurance card upon registration so that we can retain a photocopy for record-keeping purposes. This is to facilitate communication with your insurer should they contact us.
Before visiting any specialist, please remember to check with your insurance provider if a referral letter from the general practitioner/family doctor (GP) is required. Some insurance providers require members to produce a referral letter from the GP to process the claim, especially if it’s your first visit.
For expedience, you may wish to email us a copy of your insurance card before your appointment so we can pre-register you and verify your benefits ahead of time. In any case that it is necessary you have to check with your insurer personally regarding your coverage, we would be happy to provide the necessary paperwork and clarification.
This depends on your insurance policy coverage and your condition. Our doctor will first need to assess your medical condition before she is able to advise you on subsequent investigation and treatment plan.
Insurance policies can vary from local insurers, foreign insurers and corporate insurance. To find out if your medical investigations and treatment are covered by your insurance policy coverage, check with our clinic and our staff will get back to you.
If you are required to do further tests (e.g. ultrasound, CT or MRI scan) after the consultation, our staff will check on Medisave coverage for you. In most cases, Medisave is claimable by up to S$300 per year for scans to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Unfortunately, outpatient consultation fees are not covered under Medisave. For more up-to-date information, please check the MOH official Medisave Page or ask our friendly staff.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our clinic staff. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Please check this page for more updates in the near future. Our clinic is working with more health insurers to better serve you.
